Local Conservatives Celebrate General Election Victory

Bexleyheath and Crayford Conservatives held a dinner at the Bexleyheath Conservative Club on Friday evening (10 January) hosted by their MP, Rt Hon Sir David Evennett and his wife Marilyn to celebrate the Conservatives’ General Election victory.

Bexleyheath Conservatives Autumn Lunch

Bexleyheath Branch Conservatives held their social and fundraising lunch at Danson Boathouse on Sunday.  Members and guests enjoyed a traditional Sunday lunch and a raffle. 

New Priest for Slade Green

Rt Hon Sir David Evennett, MP for Bexleyheath and Crayford, and his wife Marilyn were pleased to join guests at the Licensing and Installation of Rev Jim Bennett at St Augustine Church in Slade Green on Sunday afternoon (6 October). The service also included a number of hymns and readings.

Friends Hold AGM

The Friends of St Paulinus Church held their Annual General Meeting on Saturday afternoon (5 October) in the church hall in Crayford. Members were joined by Rt Hon Sir David Evennett MP, Bexley Mayor Cllr Geraldine Lucia-Hennis, and Crayford Councillor Christine Bishop.

Eight members from the Bexleyheath & Crayford Conservative Association travelled this week to Manchester to take part in the Conservative Party’s Annual Conference.

Commuters buy cake and coffee to support charity

Commuters and local residents on their way to Barnehurst station on Friday morning (27 September) were able to stop in the front garden of Anne Rawlings’ home to purchase coffee and homemade cake as part of the MacMillan World’s Biggest Coffee Morning event.
