Bidders for South Eastern Rail Franchise Announced

Earlier today (22 June) the Government announced the names of the companies to run the next South Eastern franchise.

The four companies are:

1.         South Eastern Holdings Ltd

2.         London and South East Passenger Rail Services Ltd

Rt Hon David Evennett MP held a reception at the Bexleyheath Conservative Club on Friday evening to thank volunteers for all their work during the recent General Election campaign.

Rt. Hon. David Evennett MP re-elected

Following the General Election on 8th June 2017, David Evennett was successfully re-elected as the Member of Parliament for Bexleyheath and Crayford with an increase in his share of the vote of over 8%. His majority is 9,073 and he secured 55.6% of the vote.

Evennett takes local rail campaign to Secretary of State

Rt Hon David Evennett, Conservative Parliamentary candidate for Bexleyheath and Crayford, has been campaigning against the example given in the South Eastern Franchise Consultation to reduce the number of terminals on the Bexleyheath line.


Rt Hon David Evennett, MP and Lord Commissioner of HM Treasury, was re-adopted by Bexleyheath and Crayford Conservatives to be their Parliamentary candidate in the General Election on 8th June at a packed meeting of local members.

Evennett responds to South Eastern Franchise Consultation

Rt Hon David Evennett, MP for Bexleyheath and Crayford, officially responded to the South Eastern Franchise Consultation earlier this week. Mr Evennett had already raised concerns about the consultation with the Rail Minister, Paul Maynard MP.
