Crayford Conservatives held a social and fundraising BBQ on Saturday (22/7) at the Crayford home of Cllr Geraldene Lucia-Hennis. Chicken, sausages, cheese, together with wine and soft drinks were the order of the day.

Diversity Day in Barnehurst

Barnehurst Methodist Church held a Diversity Day in their Church hall on Saturday afternoon of 22nd July to celebrate the food, music and dance of a wide variety of local community groups.

Rt Hon David Evennett, MP for Bexleyheath and Crayford, paid a visit to the new Morleys department store in the Broadway Shopping Centre on Friday 7 July. Mr Evennett was greeted by David Hordle, Managing Director, and Sean Doyle, Store Manager, before touring the store.

Bidders for South Eastern Rail Franchise Announced

Earlier today (22 June) the Government announced the names of the companies to run the next South Eastern franchise.

The four companies are:

1.         South Eastern Holdings Ltd

2.         London and South East Passenger Rail Services Ltd

Rt. Hon. David Evennett MP re-elected

Following the General Election on 8th June 2017, David Evennett was successfully re-elected as the Member of Parliament for Bexleyheath and Crayford with an increase in his share of the vote of over 8%. His majority is 9,073 and he secured 55.6% of the vote.
