The Friends of St Paulinus church held a fundraising Afternoon Tea at the Rectory on Saturday (8 June), which was hosted by Rev Paul Prentice.

Crook Log Conservatives Coffee Morning

On Saturday 8th June 2019, Crook Log Conservative ward held a coffee morning at the home of chairman of the Bexley Conservatives Ladies Group, Sheila Vickers. Guests were treated to a variety of teas, coffees cakes and sandwiches.

MP and Mayor start BCU Life Skills Charity Walk

Rt Hon Sir David Evennett, MP for Bexleyheath and Crayford, and Cllr Brian Bishop, Mayor of Bexley, attended the start of the 26th annual BCU Life Skills Charity Walk on Saturday (27 April) at St John’s Church in Danson Park.


Group Captain Tony Alcock MBE, nephew of the flying hero Sir John Alcock, came to Crayford yesterday evening (16 April) to launch the Summer Centenary celebrations of the first and epic Trans-Atlantic flight in June 1919 by Alcock and Brown.

Evennett shocked and appalled at potential Southeastern extension

Rt Hon Sir David Evennett, MP for Bexleyheath and Crayford, has expressed his shock and disappointment at today’s announcement (10 April) from the Department for Transport (DfT) that negotiations are taking place for a further extension to the current rail franchise.


Bexleyheath branch Conservatives took time off from political activity to hold a social and fundraising event at the Danson Boathouse on Sunday 7th April.

50 party members enjoyed a traditional two course Sunday lunch and a silent raffle.

Yesterday evening (28 March) St Catherine’s Roman Catholic School in Bexleyheath hosted the Bexley Regional Final of the Jack Petchey’s “Speak Out” Challenge. The event was in collaboration with the Speakers Trust.
