Crossroads Care South East London held their annual Charity Ball at the Marriott Hotel on Saturday evening (6 October), where the guests of honour were Rt Hon Sir David Evennett MP and Lady Evennett, as well as Bexley Mayor Cllr Brian Bishop and Mayoress Cllr Christine Bishop.

Last Friday (28 September) was Macmillan’s World’s Biggest Coffee Morning, which is their largest fundraising event of the year to support people suffering from cancer. Last year alone, the charity raised over £27million.

Evennett welcomes new Odyssey Trust for Education

From 1 September 2018, Townley Grammar School and Erith School will form a new Multi Academy Trust (MAT) called the Odyssey Trust for Education. As part of the merger, Erith School will be renamed to King Henry School, which is in reference to both King Henry V and King Henry VIII.
