Rt Hon Sir David Evennett, MP for Bexleyheath and Crayford, and Rt Hon James Brokenshire, MP for Old Bexley and Sidcup, welcomed a group of Indian exchange students from The Modern School in Delhi to Parliament earlier today (20 June).
From 1 September 2018, Townley Grammar School and Erith School will form a new Multi Academy Trust (MAT) called the Odyssey Trust for Education. As part of the merger, Erith School will be renamed to King Henry School, which is in reference to both King Henry V and King Henry VIII.

Rt Hon David Evennett, MP for Bexleyheath and Crayford, has strongly backed the Government’s decision to reduce the maximum sake on fixed odds betting terminals (FOBTs) to £2. At present, gamblers can bet up to £100 every 20 seconds on the machines.
The Friends of St Paulinus Church in Crayford held a Community Coffee morning on Saturday (12 May) at the Barnehurst home of Rt Hon David Evennett MP and his wife Marilyn. The event was part of the Friends Fundraising programme for the year.
