Evennett supports World Book Day

World Book Day is an annual event which is held in the UK on the first Thursday in March. It is observed in over 100 countries and has been designated by UNESCO as a worldwide celebration of books and reading.

Remembering the Holocaust

Earlier this week (Monday 15 January), local MP Rt Hon David Evennett signed the Holocaust Educational Trust’s (HET) Book of Commitment in Parliament. In doing so, Mr Evennett pledged his commitment to Holocaust Memorial Day, which is next Saturday 27 January.
